Alimosho: Jandor Visits Arogundade’s Widow, Meets Lagos4Lagos Movement Members

The Lead Visioner of Lagos4Lagos Movement, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor), has paid a courtesy visit to the widow of Dr. Augustine Arogundade, the late chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area, Alimosho, Lagos at her Aboru residence on Sunday 29th, 2021. Dr. Arogundade died on June 2nd, 2020 after a brief illness.  His widow, Mrs. Janet Arogundade while speaking during the visit, chastised the leaders of the party and the current council leadership for neglecting her and her children after the demise of her husband. OGUN PARTNERS FG TO DEVELOP OGERE TRAILER PARK

Transporters and other users of the Ogere trailer park will soon heave a sigh of relief as the Ogun State Government is collaborating with the Federal Government to resuscitate and develop the park, with a view to tackling incessant gridlock along the Lagos-Ibadan Highway. Commissioner for Transportation, Engr. Gbenga Dairo made the revelation while speaking with OGIS after leading a delegation constituted by Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on an assessment visit to the park along with the officials of State government, Federal Ministry of Transportation and Nigeria Sovereign Investment Agency (NSIA). A chairmanship aspirant in the last local government election from Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA, Otunba Kayode Akintomo dolled out cash and other gifts to the elders and some indigents to celebrate his birthday.  The birthday celebration which was organized to launch Akintomo's Foundation, that would see to the need of the less privileged in the society.  According to Otunba Kayode " Usually, we celebrate birthdays for merry making, parties and all but critically looking, everytime should not be about party. It should be about giving back to the society and the poor. Those in government cannot do it alone, that is why, I am dedicating today for my people." The highly celebrated coronation of High Chief Dele Akinosho at the federal capital territory (Abuja)  as the custodian of 'Oduduwa shrines' by the various traditional groups across the Southwestern states of Nigeria and beyond might have come and gone but its beautiful memories will continue to linger in peoples’ hearts.
