Re:Olufemi Adebanjo: A Legislative Deficit & Why we are all deficient.

 



Some of the times, criticism is really the oil or the main ingredients needed to achieve a functional organization or system.

Of a truth, a myopic leader or boss would consider every criticism -even - an objective ones as being aimed at bringing him or her down. 


A truly and  geniue leader will no matter how painful a critic hits him consider such an hatred towards him.  But when criticism which is actually intended to correct a percieved error is designed solely to maligned, bring to ridicule and blackmail -it would not - hard to for a blind to 'see' that something is wrong or just a malicious plan at play.


Ordinarily, there is no need to have joined issue with a group tag itself a 'libration movement' within Alimosho Political space.


In one of its hurriedly put up beer parlour talk, against my person on my Political 'space or journey' in Alimosho over the years, and then, my private life. 


Firstly, for free, all the brains behind this angered - penned  beer palour talk  had all in one time or the other  voted for me, if not all campaigned for my electoral successes at each of this period that I have represented 'them ' and still representing to the glory of God, the good people of Alimosho. 


I started in the lagos state house of assembly, later Alimosho local government Chairman and presently to the glory of God and 'them' I got the honor to serve  in the national assembly in which I'm on  the second term.

The question is, for this four terms and at a period I was given appointment as a  Special adviser to the then governor Babatunde Fashola, what were the deficiencies that got lost in them that they just found now? 


Isn't this indicates  something? Deficiencies in everyone? But, no.


In the first paragraph of the  angered -penned beer parlour gist, it says; "Alimosho has never been this unfortunate. Taking away 8 political years from the life of a constituency is not a good tide - we have never had it so bad. Alimosho House of Representative member, Hon. Olufemi Adebanjo who was pushed to Abuja in 2015 by the Alimosho Hawks against the interest of the people and the party, has displayed his much-expected non-challenge, ineptitude, and unimaginable absence of the knowledge of the legislative duties. Olufemi Adebanjo has not disappointed some of us - we predicted it, and it is working exactly as predicted. " 


These same set of people Supported the none-existent hawks to sing my praises then but  story for another day.

Are these people forget the bill I sponsored as a lagos state lawmaker which gained media attention back then?  What then is the duty of a lawmaker if not to Support or initiate a bill.

It will not be out of place to initiate a bill where some elements need be tutored on basic principles  of governance and individual lives.


All the lies raised in the write up will in no distance time be responded to through 'proper channels' but I need to avail the good people of Alimosho some of my continued efforts on the floor of the house.
